i made these just as the recipe said and had no issues. they were done to my liking, both bacon and pepper. didnt change temp or bake time. i guess it depends on your preference. i dont know if this will help anyone, but i didnt have gloves, so i just used sandwich baggies to cover my hands when cleaning the peppers.

I cooked these tonight as Game day snacks. They were easy to make but tasted bland like they needed something else added

I have made these many times..But found that the bacon and chillies take along time to cook thru. I came across another recipe that is the similar. I take almost frozen bacon and slice thin, cook thoroughly and drain. Mix with the cream cheese add crushed garlic and stuff the chillies. Cook at 450 for about 20 minutes. Enjoy. Sometimes I have added shredded Parmesan cheese to the cream cheese mixture.

I make these all the time but use pineapple cream cheese instead of regular cream cheese and chives. Gives it a nice twist for something sweet and hot.
