Bloggers Adam and Joanne Gallagher from Inspired Taste give jumbo oatmeal chocolate chip cookies a punch with bacon and pecans.

Ingredients

1
pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2
cup butter, softened
1
egg
1
tablespoon water
1/2
cup cooked bacon pieces
1/2
cup pecans

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg and water until soft dough forms. Stir in bacon and pecans.
  • 2 Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.
  • 3 Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

Expert Tips

If you don’t have pecans on hand, use walnuts, almonds or peanuts.

For a little extra decadence, drizzle cooled cookies with caramel topping.

To save time, use cooked real bacon pieces from a jar or package rather than cooking bacon.
