Progresso® panko crispy bread crumbs provide a wonderful addition to these bacon and grits fritters – a tasty appetizer to treat your guests.
Prepare recipe as directed through step 2. Place fritters in single layer on cookie sheet. Cover; refrigerate up to 4 hours, or freeze 30 minutes or until firm, and then transfer to freezer plastic bags. Fry as directed, adding 2 to 3 minutes cooking time for frozen fritters to ensure the centers are thoroughly heated.
