Directions

  • 1 In large bowl, combine ground beef, seasoning mix, garlic and pepper; mix well. Shape mixture into 4 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
  • 2 Heat large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add patties; cook 10 to 12 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, turning once. Remove patties from skillet; drain on paper towels. Cool 5 minutes.
  • 3 Heat oven to 375°F. Unroll dough forming 13x6 1/2-inch rectangle. Firmly press perforations to seal. Cut dough crosswise into 2 squares. Repeat with remaining can of dough, forming a total of 4 squares.

I thought these tasted good..I would try again..I did have one request to add more cheese. Just a note..I see several comments about nutritional numbers and ingredients. I dont understand why, for one, you think you would find healthy recipes on a Betty Crocker recipe site. Two I thought these were for reviewing the recipe and not offering commentary. That is what the community section is for. The numbers are relative to each person and their preferences and needs.I try to eat in moderation so an occasional recipe with high sodium, calories etc wont hurt and even if I thought they did I would not expect others to follow my criteria.

My husband loved these. I actually didnt care for them too much. They were super easy to make, but just not for me. If I make them again for my husband I probably would only add half a packet of the au jus.

I made this with chili instead of bacon (chili cheeseburger Wellingtons, I guess) & my husband loved them. Fun way to use up the last of the leftover chili.
