Girl or boy or possibly one of each? Make this pink and blue cake for the next baby shower, or make it to give as a gift.

I made this cake, sort of. I loved the striped layers so I took that part of the recipe but frosted it with the recipe from the Lemon Velvet Cream Cake (also on this site). I baked it in loaf pans and made a flag design with blueberries and strawberries on top - yes, it was for the 4th of July last year! The cake was moist and delicious and the lemon frosting tasted so good with the berries.
