Um HOW is this dip any good?? I made this for my parents when I came to visit, I'm glad they were my guinea pigs first because I was going to make this for an event. First off, why add water?? Really? Why? I knew I should have followed my gut instinct when I was adding it, I couldn't understand why anyone would water down their dip. But I followed the directions and it was a watery mess, I should have substituted cream or put no liquid at all, I added some chopped shrimp for extra flavor and hoping to make it thicker but it still was really soupy. I am going to make this recipe my way next time, omitting the water, added WAY MORE sun dried tomatoes and letting all the flavors meld together overnight. Really disappointing IMO.
