These cookies are great. My mother used to make them with raisins and dates that she ground up in a sausage grinder. Put some curls of orange zest on top.

They all love oatmeal cookies, and this recipe has a new twist--Apricots! Delicous, Tasty cookie and the recipe yielded 64 good size cookies!!! I'm not big on cinammon so I took that down to 3/4 tsp.! Excellent--a definite Keeper for my recipe box!!!

My daughter made these cookies for 4-H. She cut the apricots into little pieces and she used almost twice as much of the apricots than what it called for. She received a blue ribbon with honorable mention. It was something definitely different and tasted very good!

I made this recipe and i omitted the pecans and apricots and added dried cranberries, what a wonderful taste. This is very good base oatmeal cookie recipe love it thank you!!!I had a real craving for oatmeal cookies today and didnt have apricots and pecans at home only dried sweet cranberries. The weather in western NY is horrible today so going to the store was out of the question. I used what ingredients I had in my cupboards and made an oatmeal cranberry cookie that I must say turn out very well i used this recipe and sustituted cranberries Thank You Lori Greenawalt
