Looking for a luscious way to cook lamb? Marinate it in an apricot syrup and stick it with garlic and fresh rosemary. Mmmm!

This is one AMAZING dish! I cooked lamb for the first time and used this recipe. I'd recommend all my friends to try this! I used 6.5lbs leg of lamb with the same amount of all the ingredients except for a little more slits with garlic and rosemary. I served this with saffron rice and it was a total hit! I was told I should serve this in a restaurant!

Great receipe. Only I turned up the oven to 400 the last 1/2 hour to make it more crustier.I also baked red potatoes and onions in a pan to go with this and it was great.

i fixed this for sunday dinner. but instead of a leg of lamb, i used lamb shanks. it was so good. i prepared sweet-peas, sour-cream & chives potatoes(betty crocker)and cole slaw, with biscuits. you could not tell you were eating lamb.but i did change something else. instead of apricots, i used red current jelly.
