Ingredients

2: cups all purpose flour

1/2: cup sugar

4: tsp baking powder

1/2: tsp salt

1/2: tsp cinnamon

1/4: tsp nutmeg

1 1/2: cups applesauce

1: egg

1/4: cup butter, melted

3: Tbsp sugar (Topping ingredient)

1/4: tsp cinnamon (Topping ingredient)

1/4: tsp nutmeg (Topping ingredient)

1/4: cup butter, melted (Topping ingredient)

Directions

1 Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
2 In separate bowl, mix together applesauce, egg, and melted butter. Combine with flour mixture, stirring until well blended.
3 Pour batter into greased muffin cups and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
4 Combine topping ingredients except for the butter. Dip tops of somewhat cooled muffins in the butter, and then into the sugar mixture. Perfect for a family of four!!!
