I don't know if I did something wrong, but my cake came out kind of dry. It tasted ok, but I expected it to be more moist than it turned out to be. I don't think I'll be making this one again. Sorry!

I found this recipe easy to prepare. The cake, tho, was dense and heavy, almost like a pound cake. If I make it again, I will at least double the raisin quantity.

I tried this right before Thanksgiving. Brought some into my office and now my friends keep asking when am I going to make it again. Having a party this weekend and my sister asked am I making the cake that she missed out on, and I said yes.

I would omit the cranberries and substitute raisins also almost 4 hours is not a quick and easy dessert
