Expert Tips

If you suffer from snack attacks, just take the cake! Wrap thick cake slices in plastic wrap so they're ready to go when you are.

Only the bottom of the pan is greased, so after baking, the cake doesn't end up with "edges on the ledges."

I really like this cake/bread recipe. I made it without nuts (I don''t like them) and without raisins (my husband isn''t crazy about them), but it is still very easy to make and very moist and good.

I absolutely LOVED this one!!! So easy to make. I''m not a fan of cooked raisins, and my husband doesn''t like nuts, so I left those out, but I love that you can taste the applesauce once the bread is cooked. SOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!
