These are great cookies! My husband prefers them without the glaze. They are moist and very tasty and not near as complicated as many holiday cookies. The only concern I have is storage: should they be refrigerated, especially after a few days if not all are eaten? The recipe didn't say anything about storage options, especially long-term storage. A similar recipe I've made calls for refrigeration if not eaten within a day or two.

I had a few apples and wanted to try something different and this was a great choice. Came out moist and delicious. Actually I never made the glaze for them...cookies were great also without the glaze.

Simple delicious cookies. I baked a batch for a Christmas party at work. They disappeared so fast I didn't even get one. The apples make them moist and the spices add that extra touch, and the smell was wonderful. The glaze was a nice finishing touch. Highly recommend these cookies.

These cookies were moist and full of flavor. Easy to prepare. The icing a bit sweet. And I actually got a full 3 dozen decent size cookies out of the batch. Certainly a good choice for the Fall like weather.

They sound wonderful and a lot like the old spice cookie recipe my husband loves, which I have unfortuately misplaced somewhere, and I will also add the raisins he likes. *When I printed the recipe the ingredients for the "Cookies" would not print either time I tried it (I did write it in by hand, but you may want to double check the system for others). Thanx! :)

These cookies are so good!!! My husband peeled and cut the apples for me while I put everything else together. That saved a lot of the prep time. My husband is a dorm supervisor, and we had guys knocking on our door wanting to know what I was making because the amazing smell wafted through the whole dorm. :)

Easy to make, quick to bake. Great way to use up some of those leftover apples. I added raisins and left off the glaze, did I mention how wonderful they made the entire house smell?

I've been craving apple streusel muffins for weeks and these cookies really calm the shakes. They're so moist, you can't pick them up without getting crumbly apple bits everywhere. I'll definitely make this recipe again.

Delicious! I made these cookies with my two year old daughter following dinner one night. At first I was discouraged of the prep time but it wasn't too bad. She enjoyed using the mixer and helping out with the measurements. Next time I wouldn't chop the apples up so small because we could barely taste them. Nevertheless, the cookies were a great snack.
