For HAP637 Half and half is a cream in the dairy section of any grocery store, it's used in coffee and recipes.

This is an out of this world cake! I used pretty good chunks of apples and they were perfect. After reading the other review, I doubled the recipe and did it in a regular 9x13" cake pan -- baked 35 minutes. SO glad I doubled it! Other than that, I followed the recipe. Yummy, yummy, yummy (all family and visitors agree -- had to share recipe)

This was easy, not a big mess, and wonderful. I used my stand mixer to cream the butter and sugar, rather than a spoon (really?) as directed. The batter is very thick, you need to spread it out. I'll definitely make this again.

This is so delicious!!! I plan on doubling this & definitely making this for Thanksgiving. The only thing I changed is that I grated the apples. My hubby is not a fan of a chunky apple texture so I did that for him & honestly would not change it even if I weren't making it for him. I thought it made the cake really moist to shred them like that. I'm wondering if anyone has added pecans to this?

This was delicous! Very rich, moist, and perfect for fall. It's great right out of the oven. Next time, I'll serve ice cream with it. I also doubled the recipe and cooked it in a 9x13 pan. It goes fast, so I would suggest at least doubling it!

My husband usually will not eat anything with apples in it so I made this to eat for myself. Well he went ahead and tried a small piece and he absolutely loved it. He ate almost the entire pan by himself. He said this is now one of his favorite recipes. He liked it that the apples were very finely diced.
