this is a great recipe. It's one of my family's favorite desserts. top it with a good ice cream and a caramel sauce. I use Smucker's Ice cream topping for a fast easy sauce.

One bite of this and you want to take it all for yourself. You can't stop. It is heaven. So yummy for a fall day!! Everyone wants the recipe. The only thing that I did different was that I added cranberries with my apples. This is a "keeper"

I tried this last week and oh my gosh, it is soooo good. Just give me a fork and leave me alone :). The crunchiness of the topping and the warm cooked apples are just heavenly. It is a for sure a keeper and do again....many times.

I just want to say that I made this dessert--so easy--and so very good. The pecans in the topping tasted good. The only change that I made was sugar-free maple syrup- instead of regular.I have been watching my sugar intake and it turned out wonderful.

I made this for a recent birthday instead of cake and it got rave reviews! I followed the recipe and it was wonderful. Especially liked the pecan topping.

This recipe rocks! Simple to make and tastes wonderful with whipped cream or ice cream. I've made it many times. Try this: serve it warm topped with whipped cream. Then drizzle Mrs. Richardson's (or a good quality caramel ice cream topping) Caramel-Butterscotch topping, followed by a half-pinch of sea salt. Yes! Salted caramel topping over warm apples baked with oatmeal and pecans.
