The perfect recipe for an abundant apple season. After one taste, you’ll want to make it again and again.

Apple crisp is one of my favorite types of desserts and unfortunately I was disappointed with tis recipe. My opinion is just that the crispier the crisp the better. I feel that the flour in this recipe kept the rest of the ingredients from crisping as much and kind of killed the sweet flavor of the other components. Next time I would probably leave out the flour and use more butter. Despite my personal opinion, other people in the house really enjoyed it the way it was. It just depends on with type of apple crisp you personally enjoy.

Great recipe!!! Reminds me of an old favorite my Dad use to make. I did a few moderations and let me know what you guys think. I did not use the nutmeg as directed. I subbed it for a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Turned out beautiful. So good doing the recipe again today. THANK YOU

Easy to make and great flavor! I left out the nutmeg and doubled the cinnamon as others had suggested. Yum!

Delicious and so easy to make. Based on previous reviews I left the nutmeg out and added extra vanilla and cinnamon. Next time will double up the recipe. I ate half of this by myself!

Wonderful aromas and flavors! @samantha8, I used most of 4 large Honeycrisp apples (not sure how many cups). When I first put the apples in the pan, I was thinking the apple layer was too thick, but the apples cook down, so it ended up being perfect, in my opinion. I also added a bit more oats than the recipe called for.

Amazing! My whole family loved it and the recipe was so easy to make! The only thing I didn't like was it was very thin. I thought it would be a little more thicker but it still tasted great. I will definetly make this again...and again.

Great! I added about 2 cups blueberries to the very thinly sliced apples and tossed about a quarter cup flour into the apples and berries. This kept the apples from getting soggy. Used granny Smith apples my rave for baking.

I made this listening to other reviews, using double the topping and it came out really yummy. I also added a handful of blueberries and sliced the apples thinly so no extra water was necessary and it cooked in 40 minutes. The only thing was it was a bit too sweet for my liking so next time I will put a little less sugar :)
