6cups sliced peeled apples (about 6 medium)
2/3cup sweetened dried cranberries
1teaspoon ground cinnamon
2tablespoons maple-flavored syrup
1tablespoon lemon juice
2/3cup quick-cooking oats
1/2cup packed brown sugar
1/2cup Original Bisquick® mix
1/4cup chopped walnuts
1/4cup butter or margarine, softened
Vanilla ice cream, if desired
1.Heat oven to 375ºF. In large bowl, mix apples, cranberries, cinnamon, syrup and lemon juice. Spoon into ungreased 8-inch square baking dish.
2.In medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients except ice cream with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture.
3.Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender, juices are bubbly and topping is golden brown. Cool about 30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Bake 43 to 48 minutes.
