I'm baking this cake as I type and it smells wonderful! Didn't have spice cake mix, so i used a french vanilla cake mix but added a pinch of nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Can't wait to try it!

The nutrition information for this is very off. At 12 servings there are 193.41 calories per serving with the mix, eggs and apples! If you just count the cake mix and nothing else, there are 133 calories per serving. Where did they get 110 for the whole thing? I bought these ingredients based on the information they gave and was very disappointed!

I made this recipe tonight but made them in muffin/cupcake tins. I filled each paper half full (made 30 muffins). I didn't use as much cinn/sugar as called for because I only sprinkled it on the top. I baked them for about 20 min, until a toothpick came out clean. SOOOOOO good and so easy. This recipe will be a keeper.
