Apple Cider Sauce

cup packed brown sugar
1/4
cup butter or margarine
1/4
cup apple cider or orange juice

tablespoons whipping (heavy) cream

  • 1 Heat all ingredients to rolling boil in heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan over high heat, stirring constantly; reduce heat slightly. Boil 3 minutes, stirring frequently. (Watch carefully; mixture burns easily.) Immediately refrigerate any remaining sauce after serving.
