I thought this was a good fall recipe. Cider flavor was just right. Was a bit dry but....I had it in the crockpot for for 10 hours, think would have been just perfect if I could have gotten home in the recommended 6-8 hrs.

Not my favorite pot roast recipe. The meat was dry and the cider cooking liquid did not replace gravy, especially for mashed potatoes. I also wish I had used a smaller onion as the flavor from a large onion was a little overpowering.
