Were very fast and easy to make and tasted delicious right out of the oven. However, next time I make them I will add more cheese to the inside (weren't quite as cheesy as I wanted them) and sprinkle some cheese on top.

These muffins are fantastic! They're easy to make and wonderfully flavored. I put in a little extra cheese, just because I like a lot of cheese. They disappeared as soon as the plate hit the table and then folks were fighting over the crumbs. Next time, I'll double the batch. We had them with a beef brisket at dinner, but they would be equally good for breakfast. I recommend eating them warm.

These were so tasty! I love the balance of sweet and savory in these muffins. It makes them perfect for breakfast or as an accompaniment to dinner. Also, SO easy to make!

This is a yummy breakfast muffin served with a scrambled egg and a slice or two of crispy friend bacon; or by itself as you're flying out the door. I created mine using what was left of a red delicious apple, peeled and cut into quarter inch cubes. It measured about 1-1/4 cup of chopped apple. I finely chopped the 1/4 cup. Mixed the apple in with the sugar and cinnamon, then added this to the Biquick and cheese, and tossed to combine. I whisked all my wet ingredients together then added them to the dry, gently folding only until moist. The batter was a little thick. I sprayed my cups and filled 3/4 full - yielding only 10 muffins. I put some water in the empty cups. Baked at 375 (not 400) for 15 minutes and they were perfectly tender and moist. Other reviewers seem to be wanting a sweeter desert like muffin, but I was after something more savory. I liked this recipe as written (had added more apple cuz I needed to use it up). If anything, maybe a few shreds of cheese placed on top the muffin just before baking. OH, and I didn't use cheddar but used some pre-shredded mozzarella and colby cuz that's what I had (and it was cheaper than block cheese the day I bought it). Will make again! They're delicious!

I make these a few times a year, and they always fly off the table.

These were good, but felt that they needed addiitonal ingredients like more apple, nuts and raisins. I also sprinkled cinammon/sugar on the top before baking.

These turned out great! The cheese part didn't sound too good to me so I increased the fresh diced apples to 1 cup and ommitted the cheese. So fast and easy!

I made these with Heart Smart Bisquick and used Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese. They were a big hit with my older friends and we believe they'd be a fairly healthy snack for any time!
