This is in response to a previous review..Waxed paper and parchment paper are not the same thing..There are no properties in the waxed paper to keep it from sticking to a baked product even with spraying or greasing..That is why recipes specify. I have never heard of using waxed paper for anything except rolling out dough on or wrapping it for putting in the fridge.Parchment is always used to bake on.Not interchangeable.

Next time I might cut the spices in half. I would also suggest not using wax paper as it sticks to the cake even with PAM.
