Made these today, but instead of almonds I used finely chopped pecans, and omitted the powdered sugar & glitter to eliminate some of the extra sweet. They were winners, moist and light and the pecans gave a nice rich flavor that complimented the almond flavor from the extract!!! Also instead of making the cresant shape I just used a small (Tbsp size) ice-cream-like scoop which saved time.

Wow, easy AND delicious! I first thought there must be a mistake with the 1/2 cup of cornstarch, but I was wrong. I had a batch in the oven in less that 10 minutes. I guess with cooling and putting on the powdered sugar it's fairly close with the prep time, but mostly it's the cooling time. I followed the recipe exactly and they are wonderful! In fact, I am chewing one as I type this. Yum!
