This is awesome as a pre-school or kindergarten activity. ask each child to bring a sandwich bag of their favorite finger food snack. (Sending a snack suggestion list helps parents.) Have a large bowl or pot and allow each child to dump their sandwich bag into it. Then use a large wooden spoon to gently mix. At Halloween they called it Witches brew. Some items I saw were: mini marshmallows, cherios, goldfish, M&Ms, Gummy worms, Pretzel thins, various frosted cereal, granola... Fun and a yummy treat. :-)

My 4 yr old Sunday School class loves to make snacks like this. They really like putting gummy bears and m&m''s in it.

We had a concert on the lawn at our local museum. Everyon brings a picnic lunch. We have a large group that gets together for this. I made the All American Snack Mix. I should have made a double batch- -it was gone in no time. Thanks so much for the recipe- -Gloria
