These are super cute! Especially for school snacks or something. I just made them for my boys for after-school snack & they are a hit! Look & taste like apples which was kind of a surprise for them. I couldn't find gummy leaves so I just used mint leaves. I used pretzel sticks & really thought the little bit of crunch & salty taste added a lot to the cupcake! Really "LIKE" this recipe!

These were great! Easy to make with great flavor. Decorating was a little bit of a hassle. It was hard to get the rpetzel pieces just right and I couldn't find the leaf shaped spearmint. I just cut leaves out of gum.

I noticed in the bulk candy section there are spearmint flavored gummy leaves you have to look closely or you'll mistake them for green gum drops =)

I made these for the last day of school for my class because we are all going to be teachers and everyone loved them! Plus the design was a bonus. The apple flavor was amazing. So much better than just a box recipe.
