cup green bell pepper, chopped

cups yellow onion, chopped

cans (8oz) tomato sauce

cans diced tomatoes, undrained

teaspoon celery seed

cup chili powder

teaspoons ground cumin

teaspoons garlic powder

teaspoon salt

teaspoon ground black pepper

teaspoon dried oregano

teaspoon white sugar

teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

cans pinto beans, drained
2
cans ranch style beans, undrained
2
cans dark red kidney beans, drained
  1. Spray large, deep skillet generously with cooking spray. Heat skillet until hot. Place chopped onion and chopped bell pepper in skillet on medium-high heat and saute for 3-5 mins. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Crumble meats in the same skillet used for sauteeing the onion and bell pepper. Sprinkle with minced onion, 1/8 tsp black pepper, 1/8 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp Lawry's seasoning salt, and 1/8 tsp Cavendar's greek seasoning. Cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 mins then stir in onion/bell pepper mixture. Cook until ground beef is evenly brown and ground pork is whitish-brown. Slightly drain and set aside. Do not fully drain.
  3. Pour tomato sauce in large crock pot. Stir in diced tomatoes, and beans. After well mixed, add celery seed, chili powder, cumin, 2 tsp garlic powder, salt, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, oregano, sugar, and cayenne pepper. Stir well. Add meat mixture. Stir well. Cook on high in slow cooker for 3-4 hours.
