jars (6 ounces each) jerk seasoning sauce or fruit chutney (1 1/2 cups)

cup diced dried fruit and raisin mixture

cup frozen small whole onions

tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Place ham in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle with pepper. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over ham.

Cover and cook on low heat setting 6 to 8 hours.
Note:
This recipe was tested in slow cookers with heating elements in the side and bottom of the cooker, not in cookers that stand only on a heated base. For slow cookers with just a heated base, follow the manufacturer’s directions for layering ingredients and choosing a temperature.

Serve this easy-to-make ham with steamed small red potatoes and crusty sourdough dinner rolls with butter.
