Sesame Wedges

Bisquick Heart Smart® recipe! Wake up your bread basket with warm and nutty Sesame Wedges. They bake crisp and easy in less than 30 minutes.

2cups Bisquick Heart Smart® mix
1/2cup water
2tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
2tablespoons sesame seed
1.Heat oven to 400°F. Grease cookie sheet.
2.In medium bowl, stir Bisquick® mix and water with fork until soft dough forms. Pat dough into 10-inch circle on cookie sheet. Brush with margarine. Sprinkle with sesame seed; press firmly into dough with rubber spatula. Cut dough into 12 wedges.
3.Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Sesame seed, also known as benne seed, has a slightly sweet, nutty flavor. Store covered in a cool, dark place up to 3 months. Sesame seed will last up to 6 months when refrigerated and up to a year when frozen.
