4boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/4 lb)
1/2cup Original Bisquick® mix
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese
2teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/2cup water
2tablespoons butter or margarine
4hoagie buns, split
Lettuce leaves, if desired
4slices (1 oz each) mozzarella cheese
1cup tomato pasta sauce or marinara sauce, heated

1.Flatten each chicken breast to about 1/4-inch thickness between sheets of waxed paper or plastic wrap.
2.In medium bowl, mix Bisquick mix, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Dip chicken into water, then coat with Bisquick mixture.
3.In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink in center. Fill buns with chicken, lettuce, mozzarella cheese and pasta sauce.

Variation
Skip the buns and serve the chicken over freshly cooked spaghetti.
Substitution
Dip chicken into red wine vinegar instead of the water for a zesty Italian taste. If you don't have Italian seasoning, you can use instead 1/2 teaspoon each of dried basil, marjoram, oregano and thyme leaves.
