Mini Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

The easiest appetizer you'll ever bake! The bread bakes around the ham and cheese, and you cut it into fun mini-sandwiches.

2cups Original Bisquick® mix
1cup milk
2tablespoons yellow mustard
1egg
1package (6 ounces) thinly sliced fully cooked lean ham, chopped
1cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
1.Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches.
2.Mix Bisquick, milk, mustard and egg until blended. Pour half of the batter into baking dish. Top with half of the ham and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Top with remaining ham. Pour remaining batter over ham.
3.Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and set. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Cut into 9 squares; cut each square diagonally in half.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Sprinkle with cheese to within 1/4 inch of edges of baking dish. Bake 47 to 52 minutes.

Vary the meat and cheese to suit your taste buds. Try corned beef, smoked turkey or roast beef with American, Swiss or provolone cheese.
