Flaming Pecan Bananas

This showstopping dessert combines the flavors of pecans, bananas, honey and rum.

1tablespoon butter or margarine
1tablespoon honey
1/8teaspoon ground nutmeg
1firm banana, peeled and cut in lengthwise in half
1tablespoon chopped pecans
1tablespoon dark rum
1.Place butter in 12-ounce microwavable casserole. Microwave uncovered on High 25 to 30 seconds or unitl blended. Stir in honey and nutmeg.
2.Place banana halves in honey mixture; turn to coat. Sprinkle with pecans. Microwave uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes or until hot.
3.Place rum in 1-cup microwavable measuring cup. Microwave uncovered on High about 15 seconds or until warm. Pour rum into long-handled metal serving spoon; carefully ignite and pour over bananas.

Skip the flaming rum, and you have a sweet treat kids will love!

If you have leftover bananas and sauce (not likely!), you can use it to top French toast, pancakes or pound cake.
