| 2 | packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened |
| 1/4 | cup vegetable oil |
| 1/4 | cup lime juice |
| 1 | tablespoon chili powder |
| 1 | tablespoon ground cumin |
| 1/2 | teaspoon salt |
| 1/8 | teaspoon pepper |
| 1 | can (8 3/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained |
| 1 | cup chopped walnuts |
| 1 | small onion, chopped (1/4 cup) |
| 1. | Beat cream cheese, oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. |
| 2. | Stir in corn, walnuts and onion. Serve with tortilla chips if desired. |
|
| Make this southwestern-style dip even more festive by arranging blue, red and yellow corn chips around the bowl on a large platter. A sprinkle of fresh cilantro adds a burst of color, too. |
|
| Not a walnut fan? Cashews and almonds are good replacements. |
