Chai Tea

2cups water
4bags black tea
2cups milk
2tablespoons honey
1/2teaspoon ground ginger
1/2teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4teaspoon ground nutmeg
1.Heat water to boiling. Add tea bags; reduce heat. Simmer 2 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling.
2.Stir with wire whisk to foam milk. Pour into cups.

Prepare the tea up to 24 hours ahead; cover and refrigerate. Reheat just before serving.
Substitution
Have it your way! Add more honey if you like a little more sweetness.
Variation
For refreshing Chai Tea Smoothies, refrigerate mixture until cold. Pour Chai Tea into blender container, and add 1 cup crushed ice. Cover and blend on high speed until smooth.
