Bread Machine Multigrain Loaf

Plug in your bread machine. Here's a delicious way to enjoy grains.

1 1/2-Pound (12 Slices)
1 1/4cups water
2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 1/3cups Gold Medal® Better for Bread™ flour
1 1/3cups Gold Medal® whole wheat flour
1cup 7-grain or multigrain hot cereal (uncooked)
3tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 1/4teaspoons salt
2 1/2teaspoons bread machine yeast
2-Pound (16 Slices)
1 1/2cups water
2tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2cups Gold Medal® Better for Bread™ flour
1 1/2cups Gold Medal® whole wheat flour
1 1/4cups 7-grain or multigrain hot cereal (uncooked)
1/4cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2teaspoons salt
2 1/2teaspoons bread machine yeast*
1.Make 1 1/2-pound recipe with bread machines that use 3 cups flour, or make 2-pound recipe with bread machines that use 4 cups flour.
2.Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
3.Select Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Remove baked bread from pan; cool on cooling rack.
*Note: The same amount of yeast is needed for both the 1 1/2-pound and 2-pound recipes.

High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): The 1 1/2-pound recipe is not recommended.
