Awesome Banana Split Pancakes

From Betty's Soul Food Collection... Is it breakfast? Is it dessert? No! It's super pancakes! And it's the perfect recipe for special occasions when nothing ordinary will do.

2cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 1/4cups milk
1/4cup chocolate-flavor syrup
1egg
2medium bananas, sliced
2cups sliced strawberries
Whipped topping, chopped peanuts, additional chocolate-flavor syrup and maraschino cherries, if desired
1.In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk, 1/4 cup chocolate-flavor syrup and the egg with wire whisk or fork until blended (batter may be thin).
2.Brush griddle or skillet with vegetable oil or spray with cooking spray; heat griddle to 375°F or heat skillet over medium heat.
3.For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle. Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook other side until golden brown.
4.Serve with remaining ingredients.

Success
Don't flip pancakes more than once! Repeated cooking on both sides toughens the pancake rather than browning it evenly.
