Strawberries and Cream Dessert Squares
I made this over the weekend,& it turned out perfect. I made the crust the day before I made the topping, in a jelly roll pan. I set my oven rack in the middle of my oven and baked it for only 10 minutes. The crust didn't come out hard like some other reviews stated, it stayed nice & soft. I dipped my fingers in a bit of water, so my they wouldn't stick to the dough, when I pressed it into the pan. That worked great. I doubled the cream cheese & vanilla chips filling, as well as the strawberry topping, as suggested by others. I will make this again. I have already had request to make it for next weekend and a friend's wedding. Very very good.
