"Delicious!, but I really altered this recipe. 1. scant 2c Bisquick with a couple dashes of flour, 2. 1c rounded of pumpkin, 3. 1/4c sugar, 4. scant 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 c buttermilk, 1/3c butter, 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice, 5. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 6. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, 7. 2 egg whites, 8. 1/4c cranberries, 9. 1/4c crushed pecans....... This had a lot of sugar and spice in it, but i like muffins really sweet and my pumpkin very spicy. they were very, very moist, and not overcooked and not too spicy. the cranberries are optional - they added a little sweetness/tartness & an interesting texture to chew on. it smells amazing just a few minutes after you put them in the oven. very flavorful and very good, especially if you're a pumpkin enthusiast like myself. i also sprinkled crushed pecans on top of the muffins after 5 minutes in the oven; it was a nice decoration."

"This is a very easy recipe.. I changed the recipe since I thought the biscuits needed some sweetness. I added about a tablespoon brown sugar & 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. I used buttermilk instead of regular milk. I added herbs to the butter - a nice touch. They taste really great. Rich yet light, a little bit of spice (from the cinnamon), and refreshing. The next time I bake, I will add a little more brown sugar and an extra pinch of cinnamon. Or maybe add cheddar cheese to make it cheesy sweet potato buscuits."
