Sugar Cookie Truffle Cups
"If you cook them the time directed, remove pan from oven and make the indent immediately, then let them COOL COMPLETELY in the tin pan before removing, they will continue to 'cook' in the hot pan. these are yummy"

Orange Cream Cookies
"I agree with the statement that the recipe as stated is dry. I also added an additional egg, and a smidge more orange extract, the second time, and they were better. This is a keeper! everyone loved the 'different' cookie"

Chocolate Cupcakes with Penuche Filling
"I'm betting these would be AWESOME with either some cappuccino coffee powder added to the filling in lieu of all the powdered sugar (which if cut back & refrigerated longer than called for still works, and isnt so SWEET ) OR even dissolve some instant coffee granules in a very small amount of water, and sub it for some of the milk called for in the filling "

California Citrus Broccoli Slaw
"this is AWESOME - the onions i did leave slivered, in case anyone wanted to pick them out, as they're kind of potent. I also SUBSTITUED about 3/4 cup mayo for the oil, as i prefer a creamier slaw. I used the juice from an LARGE fresh lemon and about 2 TBS orange rind. It was YUMMY also...i couldnt find the BROCCOLI slaw pre-package, so I just used regular slaw mix & added 2 heads of fresh broccoli flowerettes"

Cheddar-Green Olive Breadsticks
"Oh...additional comment: the marinara sauce (ie: canned Hunts meat flavor spaghetti sauce) is a must. I brought some left-over bread sticks for lunch to have with my tomato-basil soup. "

I made these and they were very YUMMY. Be sure to make your uncooked dough breadstick no thicker than your thumb. As a last step, after brushing with egg, I sprinkled garlic POWDER on the 2nd batch, and those were even better.

Confetti Creamed Corn
Rating:
This is actually VERY good. It's even GREAT cold, served as a 'salad' side dish. you can always make it NOT healthified by using real cream cheese, etc.
