Peanut Butter Brownie Cheesecake
I agree that a recipe review should review the recipe, not the cost & calorie count. However, the cooks that are pricing this recipe at $15 or more don't know where to shop. I never pay more than $0.99 for Betty Crocker brownie mix; store brand cream cheese, condensed milk, eggs, and oil are all much less than name brands with rarely any decrease in quality or flavor. I could easily find these ingredients for $7-9 even without coupons. And the flavor is fabulous, well worth a spot on a special occasion table once or twice a year. And yes, cheesecake is delicious using lowfat cream cheese (Neufchatel) and egg substitute. I also use sugar substitute, one recommended for baking, with excellent results.
