"Was super easy to make. Flavor was a little less strong than expected. I served it over rice instead of noodles because there was so much sauce. Reducing the liquid would have overcooked the meat or veggies. I recommend cutting down the amount of broth."

"I tried this recipe twice: the first as written and the second, I doubled the amount of orange juice to try and get more juice and flavor. I used tropicana OJ and I don't know if anyone else has tried that, but it just didn't seem to have enough flavor. "

This recipe was a good guideline but I did not truly follow it. I bought two liquid packets of Kung Pao sauce and used those for flavoring. I also added broccoli. I like the way my version turned out just fine. Like the previous reviewer, I could not find the specified dry kung pao sauce they spoke of.

I didn't necessarily make this the healthy way, but it worked just as well with prego chunky garden vegetable tomato sauce, the addition of diced tomatoes and only half a jar of kroger salsa. I did follow the advice of other reviewers and added taco seasoning to taste and it really helped with the flavor. I also did not add water at all and I think it helped preserve the flavorings.

This was a good recipe. Don't know whether it was the soy sauce or peanut butter that I used but the meal was overly salty. Adding sugar to taste helped to remedy the problem.
