"Just made these for the first time. A few adjustments are necessary. First, I used Truvia baking blend because I'm trying to cut back on sugar for my kids (not a great idea around the holidays!). You have to make up for the moisture that granulated sugar creates, so I added applesauce, but next time I'll need to add more (I didn't measure, so I have no idea how much I used). Also, even thought the BIsquick mix contains Xanthum Gum, I would strongly recommend using 1/2 teaspoon (1/4 teaspoon/cup of flour) to hold it together better. And would add more vanilla."
