"Great recipe! It was loved by all @ my family gathering today. I did make a couple of modifications. I added ~1/2 tsp cinnamon to the cookie mixture before baking it. I also chose to use fresh baked apples instead of apple pie filling w/ cinnamon (I used 6 granny smiths, peeled and sliced fairly thin, mixed w/ 1/4 c. sugar and 1 1/4-1 1/2 tsp cinnamon - baked them for ~20 min @ 350* - stirring every few min). Chose to use chopped pecans instead of walnuts - personal preference. Finally, I also drizzled a bit of caramel syrup on the top after I baked it. Delish!!! My sister has already requested for me to make this for her birthday dessert for next November! "
