The Ultimate Spritz
This was my first time making spritz and I was surprised at how tasty and simple these were to make. The dough was really easy to work with and was the right consistency to help it stick to the sheet. These cookies have a very mild flavor but a nice, buttery aftertaste (I used vanilla extract). I drizzled some melted chocolate on them to make them a little more flavorful. I think next time I'll add more sugar to the dough, just because I like cookies to be a little sweeter, but they're still good without it. My dad and I really enjoyed these.

As far as taste goes, these were amazing! I was worried the cookie part would be too crunchy for my taste, but it ended up being soft and chewy. They do take a while to make since you have to spread the filling and topping on each individual cookie and wait for things to cool/set, so make sure you have plenty of time set aside for these. Also, I used a bottle cap (a metal one from a liquor bottle) to make the indent in the cookies when they were still hot from the oven. I will definitely be making these again!
