Slow Cooker Potato and Double-Corn Chowder
Delicious! I didn't have the evaporated milk on hand so I used 2% milk. I'm sure it is much richer with the evaporated milk but this worked great. Since I love to use garlic in any recipe that I can get away with it, I added some along with some dill. My husband suggested that the next time I add some cut up hard boiled eggs before serving.

Skillet Chicken Nachos
Delicious!! I made this as a family gathering "munchie". Doubled the recipe and added some hot sauce for extra zing. Took some of the leftovers to work where it was a hit also. I will make this again and again.

As many others have said "This is the best banana bread" I have ever made. I used the plain yogurt in stead of the buttermilk and added the brown sugar and cinnamon to the top. My family devoured it! Can't wait until my other bananas ripen enough to make it again.

Savory White Chicken Chili
This recipe has become one of my favorite for a white chili. It is very flavorful and has the right amount of "zip" for my family. I did omit the red peppers only because I did not have any. I will add them the next time I make this. This is a great meal when you are limited in time.

Slow-Cooker Chile-Chicken Tacos
I made this for my husband and a visiting friend. I didn't have the dark meat so I had to substitute chicken tenderloins. I was a little afraid that the white meat might be a little dry but it was very moist and shredded nicely. It had a nice tangy flavor that we all enjoyed. Since my husband prefers soft tacos, I used them. This was a nice meal to come home to. The next time I will probably add black beans in addition to the other ingredients.

I've never had so many requests for a dessert as this one. I used a regular chocolate cake mix and drizzled 1/2 jar carmel topping & 1/2 jar chocolate fudge topping. My choice for sprinklings on top of the whipped topping was crushed butterfinger.

Hearty Chicken Pot Pie
I really enjoyed this recipe. It was quick and easy. I added some thyme as suggested, pre-cooked the frozen vegetables for about 3 minutes before adding them to the recipe and added some grated mild cheddar cheese to the top of the bisquick before popping into the oven. My family said I can make it again!
