"Gingerbread Modification! I had already purchased a pouch of the gingerbread cookie mix before I saw this recipe. I used it instead of the sugar cookie mix and omitted the cocoa. Instead of the filling, I bought a can of cream cheese frosting and used it instead. I also didn't bother with the topping. I followed all the other directions and they are yummy!"

"This is the cheesy potato soup recipe I've been looking for for years! I read all the comments about changes prior to starting and kept them in mind as I went... after 4 hours, the potatoes are tender (I also use half the onion amount and no yucky celery)... so if it's a Saturday and you start it late-- it's ok! I did notice it seemed very thin (might be because I didn't cook for 6 hrs)... instead of flour I used 6tbs potato flakes and in the end before serving, thickened with a 2tbs water/2tbs corn starch mixture. The soup was delicious!"

TheBakingTeacher replied to the topic How many do i need?
"Wow! You can fit that many people at your house?!? and you aren't having it catered!?!?! Brave soul! The easiest way to figure out the number of boxes it to get a boxes, look at how many servings are in each box and then divide 150 by the number of servings"
