Beef Pasta and Green Beans
"I havent tried it with the veggies yet. If the hamburger helper seems a bit bland, you can add Herb Ox beef season (in packets). It has no sodium or MSG. I would only add 1/2 packet to start with and then add more to your taste if needed. I have used the Herb Ox and 1/2 the season that comes with in the Hamburger Helper box to cut down on the sodium. still tastes good. I will rate it 5 because it sounds very delicious. "

Blueberry-Oatmeal Muffins
"I made these for Valentine's Day for our Sunday School class. They are very good. I changed the recipe slightly. I used two 6oz. containers of raspberry flavored yogurt and raspberries in place of blueberries. I didnt have any whole wheat flour so I used 1-1/3 C. unbleached, all purpose flour (same equivalent as recipe's) and added 2T ground flax seed. They tasted great. Eating healthy is not boring! I will make these again. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. "

Healthified Cranberry-Nut Bread
"how can this be healthier when you are using almost 2X as much sugar as original recipe+ maple syrup (more sugar & calories)? it still calls for white flour. I bought some UNBLEACHED flour the other day, by Gold Medal. Anxious to start using it. Using a sugar substitute such as Splenda is not healthier (or safer), just less calories. what is the purpose of using both types of flour?"

Super-Simple Picnic Potato Salad
"Yum. I used light Italian dressing in place of the vinegar. I found it was very easy to peel the eggs when I crack the eggshell after boiling then soak in cold water before peeling. The shells are so much easier to remove. The hash brown make it quicker to make. Loved it. "

Microwave Baked Apples with Granola
"Excellent desert to snack on. I like to mix peanut butter & yogurt til creamy. Spread on top of apple, top with granola. OR: Garnish with cinnamon then granola, raisin or cranberry (dried. Cinnamon is great addition! I use granny smith for the tartness."
