"Made this last night to go with from scratch Black Bean soup. Yum!!! My son and husband loved it so much, they ate it all....I managed to get maybe 1/2 a piece. To avoid it becoming dry, I baked at 350* for 30-35 minutes and it was perfect. My husband is on a low cholesterol diet (which means the rest of us are, too) and it is nice to be able to add a delicious side that fits the bill. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe!"

"If you decide to make these, use your KitchenAid. I suggest you don't make them though. They are time consuming, dry and lack flavor. You absolutely need to have a dipping sauce or mustard. I specialize in appetizers and love to try new recipes. Scored high on 4 out of 5 today and will not make these again."

"I have made this for years. I use a 6" mini springform pan and homemade pesto. I freeze each layer for about 15 minutes before adding the next. Makes a huge difference in the appearance. 4 stars because of the way this recipe was laid out. Aside from that, it is awesome and always flies. Great with good sliced bagettes or crackers."
