Strawberry-Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake
Just tried this today and I was pleasantly surprised. I was using the recipe to teach my son some intermediate cooking skills. Not only was this an easy recipe, it tastes sooooo good! It turned out perfect, but we did check it with the toothpick before the time was up and it was done... so the one person below who had poor results may just have left it in the oven too long. As with all recipes, cooking times very with ovens and altitude and etc and as long as you check this cake with the clean toothpick test near the end of the time specified in the recipe, I think you get good results. By the way, it was too good to wait the 30min cool time. It was awesome hot (maybe 5-10 min wait) with whip cream.
