"Was hoping for delicious but this was just so-so. Overall my family found it rather bland. Gouda, sour cream, cream soup... none of these are exactly bursting with flavor. On the upside, it was quick and easy to put together and then let the slow cooker do the work. But I doubt we'll be making this one again... it received just mediocre reviews from my household."

"Unfortunately this is the first Betty Crocker recipe I have tried here that just fell flat with my family. It sounded delicious - how can you go wrong with pasta, cheese, etc? I made the recipe exactly as written but I'm afraid we found the dish to be much too bland - flavorless, really. I agree with some other reviewers who suggested it could use a punch from garlic or other seasoning. It made a beautiful presentation (and I loved the quick and easy aspect) but not enough flavor."

"Made this night last and it's a real keeper. I bought thin sliced chicken breasts which saved me the step of pounding the breasts out. I also substituted Worcestershire sauce for the soy - soy seemed to be an odd addition to me. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious. The mushroom gravy seemed to thicken very quickly so I added another splash of milk to thin it back out a bit. My husband loved the gravy so much he put it on his potatoes as well. I'll be adding this one to regular rotation. Thanks!"
