My family was amazed that I could even cook lasagna in a crock pot. Like a previous reviewer, I tweaked things a little bit and used 1 jar of spaghetti sauce, 1 can of diced tomatoes (drained) and a can of tomato sauce. The flavors were awesome and the consistency was perfect. I trimmed the lasagna noodles with scissors prior to putting them in the crock pot to fit the contours of our oval pot to ensure the lasagna covered the entire surface. The only change I would make is that I accidentally purchased no-boil noodles, and after a day in the crock pot, they were a little softer than I would have liked.
