" I do not have a bread machine so I took the recipe and increased the recipe to make two loaves, and made it by hand. It was incredible! I never had sourdough so good. I have made bread from this recipe 3 times in 2 weeks. I cannot get enough of it . I have given the starter away to be used by my friend and I plan to use it at Church functions. Cant wait to use it on the older folks They will love it. Thanks."

"I used chicken instead of beef and chicken broth instead of beef broth. The cooking time had to be decreased because it did not take near as long to cook. I was a very good recipe. i would recommend it to friends, and next time I make it I'm using beef!"

"This turned out to be very good . My husband , who does not usually like slow cooker food ,even liked it. It was easy to prepare to make ahead of time and only took 5 mins to throw it in the slow cooker. I got every thing ready the night before I made it."
